Here Is Baby Moore!: First Tooth!

I am getting so bad at updating my Maddie blog! I really need to focus on that now that we're in 2012. I hate not documenting special things that she does as she gets bigger and bigger...and am really going to be mad at myself when I go back and re-read everything!

Tonight Miss Maddie started biting down on my finger - and I noticed a little tooth pushing thru on her bottom front gums! :) I was so excited! My little babies first tooth! We tried to see it as well - but she kept putting her tongue over it...although I think I did get a glimpse. Can't wait to see that little tooth when it's sticking up in her little mouth! Awww - she's growing up so fast!

She's so funny...she's been laughing out loud a lot more lately - for the oddest reasons. :) This afternoon she was sitting on daddy while I was eating - and she just laughed and laughed at me...as if my eating was that funny. :) I have no idea what made her laugh - but she thought it was pretty darn funny. Tonight when we were getting ready for her bath, I pretended to be 'eating' her tummy - she thought that was pretty funny too. :) Usually you have to try really, really hard to get a belly laught out of her - but she's becoming quite the laugher!

We had an early New Year's Eve night...we all did go to mom and dad's for a little bit - but she was pretty grumpy/tired by 9pm so mommy and Maddie came home. She was out by 10pm - and mommy followed at 11pm! So we missed the big to-do at Midnight. I do hope we have a great 2012...look forward to all of the fun new things that Maddie does this year!

I never posted about Christmas (#FAIL) - but Maddie had an awesome one. :) She got lots and lots of new toys from santa - as well as the Moore and Sowder families. She did get pretty overwhelmed by it all - and wouldn't sleep for us that night....mommy ended up sleeping in the recliner rocking her all night. She would scream anytime we put her in her crib. It was a long, long night...and I hope she doesn't get that overwhelmed again ever! :) It took her all week to get back into a routine - and finally is going to sleep by 7:30pm and sleeping until at least 6am - if not 7am (and 8am today -after going to bed at 10pm last night!). She's an expert present-opener though! She loves ripping off that paper (and then eating it)!
