Breastfeeding Class!

This was basically what it sounds like...a class all about breastfeeding! :)  We learned about all of the pros and cons (did you know breastfed babies score 15-20 points higher on IQ tests than formula babies?!) - as well as HOW to do it (not how I thought exactly - good thing I went to class first!) and different pump models (yes I do believe I need that $300 model now!).  I do feel a lot better about it - most people I talk to talk about how difficult/time-consuming/annoying it is...but they really are cheerleaders for breastfeeding at St. Francis! :)  It's amazing what the human body can do...I mean really...how does it produce milk just based on what your brain tells you to do??

And yes, we had 'hands-on' time with the dolls again...it wasn't as awkward this time (maybe because we sat in the back of the room this time!) :)
