Nice Surprise(s)!

I didn't get to post last night...but I had lots of surprises when I got home from work! :)  

I had to work a little bit later last night because of a group in-house....but I also had a terrible bout with cramps  (er, sorry, 'contractions' - see previous post!) - so I spent most of the evening laying on my left side and drinking water.  I really think it was another case of dehydration - because it wasn't like they were "measurable" contractions or anything...just an ache-iness, heaviness...and after laying down for a few hours, I was ok.  I had a little bit of the same thing again this afternoon - but again, I laid down and had some water and I seemed to be ok.   I know, I know...don't worry - my husband is on me all day to drink water!

I spent the afternoon today at the hospital with my mom - she had knee replacement surgery this morning. :)  She's doing well (as well as can be expected).  I only cried (ok, sobbed) once - when I first saw her after coming out of recovery - and I pretty much lost it then. :)  But I was ok after that...she really just wants to sleep - but it's almost impossible at a hospital.  Ironic - but true.  Keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery!

So...back to the surprises!! :)  We had a good day at the Moore house....here is what we came home to:

PEONIES!!
My absolute favorite flowers! :)  Mom and dad have some in
their yard - and brought some over for me.  There were actually
3 big blooms - so I took one bloom to work to enjoy there! :)

So now I will feel a little better about Madison...
although I'm sure I'll think she looks *perfect*  - conehead and all. :)
Yup - I was 9lbs. 3oz. Wow.
(now you can see why mom had knee replacement surgery today?!)

A huge box of clothes from the Connecticut Moore's! :)
They have two beautiful girls - and Katie sent some of
their cool stuff my way...love it!  There's actually another tutu!
