Baby Shower #1 - Family & Friends!

today was my first of two baby showers - big shout out to my aunt rosie, uncle tom, cousin's amanda, kenzie and laurie for pulling it altogether!  it was awesome!  i appreciate all of the time and effort you put into it to make it so special! :)

i was nervous today...not sure why.  i think it came down to not wanting to be the center of attention. :)  everyone staring at your while you open gifts?  :)  but my niece davia sat next to me the whole time and that helped having her there. :) 

madison and i got *so* many nice things...i could never thank everyone enough!  it was a bit overwhelming when i got home and tried to sort through everything and remember what i got!  i just now got through it all - and it's 9pm!  i think davia said it best - "madison is spoiled and she's not even here yet!" so true, davia.  so true!

here are some of the pics from the day - derrick was the official photographer.  we got a new camera - and i'm not 100% happy with how these turned out...still think we need some tweeking with the settings. :)

it in front of everyone - telling me why she loves me.  yes, i cried.
