Dr. Perkins and Edinburgh Outlet!

Mom came with me for my 24-week check-up yesterday - all went well!  My blood pressure is the lowest it's ever been, only gained 1lb this month (which means to me I should be eating more, right?! :)), measuring right at 24 weeks and Madison's heartbeat was nice and strong at 144!  It was short and sweet...except for all of the questions I kept asking Dr. Perkins - I'm quite sure he thinks I'm a nut. :)  He simply asked "so is she moving around a lot?" and I went into 20-questions "well sometimes - should she move more? how much should she be moving? should I be keeping track? she really moves at 8pm each night!". :)  He has no idea what he's gotten into.

We had a nice lunch with dad (yummy fried pickles!) and then headed to Buy Buy Baby to check out my crib.   When I registered they kept telling me "oh my you need to order your crib ASAP it could take 8-10 weeks!" so we figured maybe we should go ahead and at least order it.  Little did we know she would come back with "oh!  it's your lucky day - we have *one* left in the back!"  Uh huh. I'm sure they always just happen to have "one" left in the back. :)  So now my crib is "in the back" at Buy Buy Baby and we just have to get Derrick and his van over there to pick it up!  Yippee!

We then headed down to Edinburgh (IN) to the outlet mall.  I started out kind of slow...I guess I thought I would find bigger bargains than I did?  We started at Carter's - and I just bought a bodysuit 5-pack and some pants on clearance...yup, started out slow. :)  I kind of got into it towards the end - which is good I guess.  While they did have some good bargains...I don't know...I expected *more* bargains?! :)   $14 for a sleeper does not seem like a bargain to me. :)  (And thanks Sara S. - I did print out coupons and used them! :))

So here is the damage...and I know you're thinking "really??  you didn't find much??" :)  Mom did buy a few of these things - just FYI.  I didn't go completely nuts.  And really - it looks much worse once I laid it all out...it didn't seem like we bought this much yesterday!!

Of course I had to get a tutu! :)  And I know what you are thinking..."don't buy too many clothes!  You'll get so many at showers and they outgrow them so fast!".  It's tough, friends. It really is! :)
