Great Aunt Jose's Rocking Chair...

I've been thinking about what I should use in the "monthly" update picture for Madison...that one 'standard' backdrop/prop that she has in each picture so you can see how much she's changed/grown.  I know - seriously?!  I have nothing else to think about?! :)  But if you know me well...you know I love pictures - and of course that's what I think about.

I think I've decided on this small rocking chair - it was my mom's when she was little and was given to her by her Great Aunt Jose (like 'Joes' - not Jose! :))  Great Aunt Jose was my Papa Chandler's aunt - and quite a character from what I've heard. :)  It's a beautiful rocker - it's wooden with a velvet back and seat.   I'll probably have to prop Madison up the first couple months...but how cute will she be when she's about 6 months old?! :)

So here it is - the (maybe) "official" prop for Madison's monthly photo!  (The 'Madison' pillow is the one that Derrick and I bought several years ago on our trip to Madison, Indiana!)
