The Great De-Clutter 2011

Since we've decided to stay in the condo for awhile longer...I've come up with a calendar that lists a special "project" around the house each weekend!  Derrick is thrilled beyond belief (not)! :)  So when Maddie comes this summer everything will be nice and neat and organized(because I know she'll notice :)).

The first project was this weekend...and it was cleaning out the bedroom closet.  I even printed out instructions on 'ehow.com' - which suggested using 4 boxes labeled "keep", "keep but move", "sell" and "donate".  They are all sitting in our family rooms as I write.

However, it was a rainy, cold morning here in Indy. :)  I woke up at 7:30am...got up...read a magazine...then went back to bed and slept until 10am!  Ran a few errands..came home...and slept again for 2 hours!  It was just that kind of day.

Around 3pm - the sun came out and it was beautiful outside!  Nice and warm.  So we decided to work on our bathroom...since the closet project wasn't looking so promising anymore. :)  You just really have to be in the mood, you know?  And that mood passed this morning when it was rainy and cold.

So our bathroom is now de-cluttered and ready to go...it's amazing how many Bath & Body Works bath gels I have (had) - and I know I've had some from even before I met Derrick!   The old ones are gone and are bathroom is organized and pretty again!

Now tomorrow I might just start on the closet...
