Three Weeks of "Birthdays"!

I'm sure some of you have noticed that I've "celebrated" each and every week since Maddie Moo was born...and I'm sure a few of you have wondered if I'm seriously going to do it every single week?! :)  Answer?  Haven't decided yet! :)  I just might!  But just wait until next Thursday when it's her ONE MONTH birthday - holy cow!  Bring out the balloons and cake! :) 

I've taken a picture each week (of course) - so thought I would include them in this blog post.  I feel like she has changed so much since July 14th - but when I see her everyday, I don't really see it - until I look at old pictures.  Looking forward to her next appointment with Dr. Kidd on Wednesday to see how much weight she has gained now!

My mom was over this morning - she came over that entire
first week to help out around the house (and let me shower!).
I had about 5 outfits (!) I wanted to put her in for pictures...
but we only got to three of them before Maddie had enough! :)
It's funny...I bought SO many bows to put in her hair - and I never
really do now that she's here!  I need to do that more!
This onesie is Gerber - and I thought there was NO way she would
fit into it before she got here...it was so tiny!  But it was actually
one of the only things that really fit her that first week!

I was trying to get as many of her 'special' things into this
picture that I could! :)The 'Madison' pillow that Derrick
and I bought in Madison, Indiana, before we were
 even married...her big pink teddy bear we bought her
at the hospital....and her special Nordstrom
monogram blanket! I really wanted to put her in the
special rocking chair of my mom's (see earlier post!)
- but she wouldn't stay upright....not sure how I'm going to
do that for her 1-month photo! :)

Love this little outfit from the Children's Place!! :)

She did have little socks on at one point too...but socks never last

very long on her. She always finds a way to get them off!

We spent a few hours this afternoon at the bouncer town place

with the Sowder cousins! Love those big dark eyes! :)

And there you have the first 3 weeks of Madison's life in pictures! :)  I really am looking forward to next Thursday - 1  month.  Wow.  Doesn't seem like it's been that long.  Tonight we went to my Cousin Laurie's surprise birthday party - and I thought I did ok.  Maddie slept most of the time - although I did have to feed her at one point (that always stresses me out when I'm not in the confines of my own environment!).  Last night she slept in her big princess crib for the first time - and it went ok.  She did sleep in it - which in itself is a big accomplishment. :)  Now if we can just get her to sleep longer!? :)
