Getting Ready for Baby Madison

What a yucky day - rain, rain, snow, more rain...cold. :(  I spent a couple hours at work checking on my OSU Lady Buckeyes - made a run to Target (finally) and then a nice long nap this afternoon.  Derrick spent *all* day painting the condo - bless his heart.  We started this paint project *last* July - and are just now getting around to finishing it.  The plan is to sell this place...but with the way the housing market has been the past several years - I honestly don't feel too good about that prospect.  He just has the kitchen left to do - and then we'll be done and we can put the house back together!  I finally hung a picture back up on the hallway wall - it's so nice!  Looks more like a "home" again!

Derrick mentioned he needed some new paint brushes this evening - so I once again headed out - to Meijer...and thru the baby aisles. :)  I've been really good - I really have!  So I bought a 5-pack of little girl onesies.  I had said today that I was *only* going to buy clearance/sale items - since I keep getting the advice that "you'll get soooo much stuff she won't even be able to wear it all".  So unless it was a great deal, I wouldn't buy anything.  Ok.  Except for this one time when I bought the 5-pack of onesies. :)  Hey - give me a break!  I didn't hit "place order" on the $92 target.com order I did!

So....Derrick also mentioned picking up a pizza on my way home.  Well that of course involved a 20-minute wait....so I had to go by Hallmark.  And this is where the story gets bad.  Well, not terrible...but I did spend more money.  That probably didn't need to be spent.  I bought a frame - it was a place for the ultrasound picture on one side and the a place for the newborn picture on the other!  So cute!  I also bought these ADORABLE booties...they look like ballerina slippers - with a cute ruffle at the top!  Awww! :)  And so the shopping has officially begun...hey, just doing my part to get ready for Madison!
