Nice, Relaxing Sunday...

Well for me anyway. :)  We kind of did our same routine again - Derrick painted...I shopped. :)  It's been so busy this week at work with the Big Ten men's basketball tournament - it was nice to not focus on work again and focus on baby Madison!  My latest "thing" is going online, finding lots and lots of stuff I want, putting it all in my shopping "basket"...then logging out. :)  Without hitting "complete order".  Then I can go back - and decide if I still really, really want those items - without the guilt of an impulse buy!   There is a cute set of onesies at Target - I think they are Carter's and they are some kind of "ballerina" set.  Did not see them at the store today - so I think I'm in the clear to get them...it's been at least a week I've had my eye on them!   I did buy a baby book today at Target - I had seen it a week ago (again, not an impulse buy!) and after looking at several different kinds, decided it was the one I wanted.  This is kind of weird...and maybe will sound familiar to some of you....but lately I've started thinking "what if it's really a BOY?".  I mean, the tech *seemed* pretty confident that she is a girl...but just what if??  I'm almost afraid to start writing in her baby book - in case she is a he!   Leave it to me to find something to worry about...

So here was our day...


My shopping today.
$5 for the winter "car bag" (on clearance!), socks,
little pink bows, "I Love My Daddy" bodysuit, baby book
and some Johnson & Johnson (mostly for me to smell :)).

Dad would be so proud - he has been trying to figure
out how he was going to reach the top of our cathedral ceilings...
so he duct taped a paint brush to the end of this long pole.  Voila! :) 
Good news is he's DONE - just has a couple more doors to do!  It looks awesome!



I think the paint fumes got to him...he painted his stomach at one point.
And then made it "talk" later in the evening.  Scary. :)
